What’s the Story Behind Your Favorite Shoe Colorway Names?

i think shoe colorway names are just a way to make the shoes feel more unique. like, “midnight fog” sounds like a whole mood.

i read this article on solecollector.com about how jordan brand names their colorways. apparently, they use a lot of basketball and pop culture references.

also, my fave is “chicago” – it’s just iconic.

also, “midnight fog” is still my fave, but now i’m curious about “space jam” and “infrared.” anyone know where i can cop those?
