What Are the Most Useful curl Flags You Use Regularly? or Can Someone Explain These Essential curl Fl

`-x` for proxies! Our corp network blocks stuff, so `-x http://proxy:port` gets me through.

`--retry 3` for flaky APIs. Automatically retries on failures.

If you’re drowning in curl flags, try `curlconverter.com`—paste a curl command and get Python/JS/etc. code.
`-J` (remote header filename) is niche but cool—saves downloads with the filename from headers.

`--data-urlencode` for URL-encoded form data. No more manual `%20` nonsense.

For readability, I use variables in scripts:

```
URL="https://api.example.com"
AUTH="Bearer token"
curl -H "Authorization: $AUTH" "$URL"
```

Way cleaner.
