"Best sites for a free socks5 proxy in 2024?"
Yo, anyone got a legit spot for a free socks5 proxy? Every list I find is either outdated or packed with sketchy IPs that die in 5 mins.
I’ve tried a few "top 10 free socks5 proxy" sites, but half don’t work, and the other half throttle speeds to oblivion.
Any hidden gems? Or am I better off just paying for one at this point?
Also, how do y’all avoid getting blocked? Even when I find a "good" free socks5 proxy, it’s banned everywhere after a day.
Drop your recs below—pls no spammy affiliate links tho. 🙏
Honestly, free socks5 proxy lists are a gamble. Most are either overloaded or straight-up malware traps.
If you're desperate, check out spys.one—they update their free socks5 proxies daily. Still, expect some to die fast.
For avoiding blocks, rotate IPs often and keep sessions short. Free proxies get blacklisted quick, so don’t rely on them for anything serious.
Bro, just pay for a cheap VPN with socks5 support. Free socks5 proxies are trash in 2024.
But if you’re stubborn, hidemy.name sometimes has working ones. Just don’t cry when they stop working after an hour lol.
I feel you—free socks5 proxy hunting is exhausting.
Try premproxy.com. Their free list isn’t perfect, but I’ve had better luck there than most places.
Also, use a checker like ProxyScrape to filter out dead IPs before wasting time.
Free socks5 proxies? Good luck. Most are honeypots or slower than dial-up.
If you *must* go free, github.com/TheSpeedX/PROXY-List has raw lists updated regularly. Still, expect 90% to fail.
Better off spending $5/month for a reliable provider.
Y’all sleeping on geonode.com. They offer free socks5 proxies (limited but decent).
Speeds are okay for basic stuff, but yeah—free proxies get banned fast. Rotate ‘em or get rekt.
Free socks5 proxies in 2024? Lol.
Fine, try freeproxylists.net, but don’t blame me when your data gets sniffed.
Seriously though, free proxies are a security nightmare. At least use a burner email if you’re gonna risk it.
I’ve had *some* success with proxy-list.download. Their free socks5 proxies are hit-or-miss, but they update frequently.
For blocking, change user agents + don’t hammer sites. Free IPs get nuked fast if you’re aggressive.
OP here—thanks for the recs! Tried spys.one and geonode.com, and they’re… okay? Better than nothing, I guess.
Still getting blocked constantly though. How often do y’all rotate IPs? Every hour? Every session?
Also, anyone tried proxyrack.com? Their free tier claims to have socks5, but idk if it’s worth the hassle.
Man, free socks5 proxies are like finding a unicorn these days.
proxyscrape.com lets you filter by socks5, but prepare for heartbreak. Most are dead or crawling.
If you need reliability, just bite the bullet and pay.
