So I’ve been trying to click on shopping links in Chrome, but they just... don’t work? Like, nothing happens when I click, or it just hangs. Super annoying!

Tried restarting Chrome, clearing cache, even rebooted my laptop. Still nada.

Is it just me or are others seeing this too? Maybe a recent update broke something?

I found a temp fix—switching to Edge (lol) works fine, so it’s def a Chrome thing.

Someone on Reddit said disabling "Hardware Acceleration" in Chrome settings helped them. Worth a shot?

Settings > Advanced > System > Toggle off.

Then I noticed it’s only happening on certain sites like Amazon. Weird, right?

Maybe a site-specific bug? Try opening the link in Incognito (Ctrl+Shift+N). Worked for me sometimes!

Bruh, same. Chrome just gave up on shopping links smh.

My workaround? Right-click the link and "Open in new tab." For some reason, that works when a regular click doesn’t.

Also, check if your ad blocker is going rogue. Ublock Origin was messing with mine until I whitelisted the shopping sites.

Tried the hardware acceleration trick and Incognito mode—no luck. But whitelisting the sites in uBlock Origin actually worked!

Ugh, yes! Shopping links in Chrome are broken af today.

I disabled all extensions one by one and figured out it was my coupon finder extension causing it. Removed it, and now links work fine.

Maybe yours is a similar case? Extensions can be sneaky like that.

Turns out my Chrome was outdated even though it said "up to date." Manually downloaded the latest version from Google’s site, and it fixed it.

This is happening to me too! Shopping links in Chrome just freeze or do nothing.

I read somewhere that resetting Chrome settings might help.

Go to Settings > Reset settings > Restore to default.

Back up your bookmarks first tho! It helped me, but YMMV.

I switched my DNS to Google’s (8.8.8.8) and it magically started working. No idea why, but hey, I’ll take it.

Maybe a network thing? Try it if nothing else works!
