Hey guys, so I was just browsing 4chan earlier today, and outta nowhere I got hit with a "your IP has been blocked" message. Like, wtf? I wasn’t even posting anything crazy or breaking any rules (that I know of).
I’m lowkey confused—why did 4chan block my ip? Did I accidentally trigger something, or is this just a mistake? I’ve heard sometimes they block IPs for no reason, but idk. Maybe I was lurking too hard or something lol.
Has anyone else had this happen? And if so, how’d you fix it? I tried restarting my router, but no luck. I’m not even using a VPN or anything sketchy.
Any help would be appreciated, cuz I’m kinda lost here. Thanks!

hey guys, thanks for all the suggestions! i tried using a vpn (nordvpn) and it worked like a charm. i guess 4chan just randomly blocked my ip for no reason.
i’m still kinda confused why did 4chan block my ip in the first place, but at least i can browse again. i’ll keep the other tips in mind if it happens again. appreciate the help!
