"Why does indiaproxy.in in my search engine keep popping up? Is it safe?"

Hey guys,
So lately, every time I search for something, indiaproxy.in in my search engine shows up in the results or even redirects me. Super annoying!

Anyone else facing this? Is it some kinda malware or just a weird glitch? I’ve run scans but nothing shows up.

Also, is it safe? Feels sketchy af.

Thanks for any help!

"Has anyone else noticed indiaproxy.in in my search engine? What’s going on?"

Yo,
Is it just me or is indiaproxy.in in my search engine suddenly everywhere?

No idea where it came from, but it’s messing with my searches.

Anyone know why this is happening? Or how to nuke it?

Thx!
Hey! I had the same issue with indiaproxy.in in my search engine popping up everywhere. Turns out it was a sneaky browser extension hijacking my searches.

Try checking your extensions (chrome://extensions or about:addons in Firefox) and remove anything shady. Also, run Malwarebytes—it caught a few things my normal antivirus missed.

Hope that helps!
Ugh, indiaproxy.in in my search engine is the worst. It’s probably adware or a redirect virus.

I fixed mine by resetting my browser settings to default. Sounds extreme, but it worked. Also, scan with AdwCleaner—it’s free and great for this kinda junk.

Let us know if it works for you!
indiaproxy.in in my search engine kept messing with me too! Super annoying.

Found out it was hiding in my hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts). Opened it with Notepad (as admin) and deleted any weird entries.

Be careful tho—messing with system files can break stuff if you’re not sure what you’re doing.
Yo, same here! indiaproxy.in in my search engine kept redirecting me.

Try switching your DNS to Google (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1). Sometimes ISPs or malware mess with DNS to push these shady sites.

Also, check your router settings if it’s happening on all devices. Good luck!
Not just you—indiaproxy.in in my search engine has been a nightmare.

Try this: uninstall any recently added programs (check Control Panel). Some free software bundles this crap silently.

Also, use Firefox with uBlock Origin. Blocks most of these redirects.

Thanks for all the tips, everyone!

I tried Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner, and they found a bunch of junk. indiaproxy.in in my search engine seems gone for now, but I’ll keep an eye out.

Quick question—could this have stolen any of my data? Should I be worried about that?

Appreciate the help!
indiaproxy.in in my search engine is definitely malware. Had this last month.

Ran HitmanPro and it nuked the thing. Also, change all your passwords if you logged into anything while this was happening—better safe than sorry.

Stay vigilant, folks!
