Why Was My Instagram Disabled Due to Data Scraping?

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share my recent experience because I found my account was instagram disabled due to data scraping, and I’m still kinda confused about it.

I mean, I was just using some third-party tools to manage my account, nothing too crazy. But apparently, Instagram flagged my activity as suspicious.

It’s frustrating because I didn’t think I was doing anything wrong. Has anyone else faced this issue?

What can I do to appeal the decision?

I’ve read that Instagram is pretty strict about data scraping, but it seems like they might need to clarify their rules a bit.

Any insights or advice would be super helpful! Thanks! 😊
I totally understand your frustration!

I had my account instagram disabled due to data scraping too, and it was a hassle to get it back.
For your appeal, I recommend being as detailed as possible about your activities.

Mention that you were just managing your account and didn’t intend to violate any policies.
I’ve heard that using third-party tools can be risky with Instagram.

They’re pretty strict about any type of automation, especially if it seems like data scraping.
I appreciate all the insights!

If anyone has more tips on preventing the account from getting disabled again after the appeal, I’d love to hear them!
Thanks for sharing your experience!

I’m definitely going to be more cautious with the tools I use now that I know how strict Instagram can be regarding this issue.

If I find any useful strategies or tips for appealing, I’ll share! 😊
When I appealed, I made sure to explain what I was doing and how I didn’t realize it was against their rules.

They eventually reinstated my account, but it took a few days.
