Hey everyone,
I’ve been hunting for some good free proxies that actually work, but man, it’s like finding a needle in a haystack. So many lists out there are either outdated or just straight-up trash.
Anyone got recs for reliable ones with decent speed? I don’t need anything crazy, just something that won’t time out every 2 seconds lol.
Bonus points if they don’t log your data (but hey, I know that’s asking a lot for freebies).

Honestly, good free proxies are rare these days, but I’ve had some luck with HideMyAss’s free version. It’s not perfect, but it’s decent for basic browsing.
Speed’s okay, and they claim not to log data, but I’d take that with a grain of salt.

Some are hit or miss, but I’ve found a few gems there. Just be ready to switch if one dies mid-session lol.

I gave up on good free proxies a while ago. Most are either slow, unreliable, or sketchy as hell.
But if you’re desperate, check out FreeProxyLists.net. They refresh their list daily, so you might find something usable.
Just don’t expect miracles—free proxies are basically a game of roulette at this point.

Jokes aside, I’ve had *some* success with KProxy. It’s browser-based, so no setup, but it’s kinda slow and has ads.
For anything serious, I’d just pay for a VPN. Free proxies are more trouble than they’re worth these days.

KProxy was too slow for me, but Geonode’s been decent so far.

If you’re just scraping or light browsing, ProxyNova’s list is worth checking out. They test proxies for speed and uptime, so you’re not completely blind.
But yeah, free proxies are a gamble. I’d recommend rotating them often—no such thing as a long-term free solution anymore.
