thanks so much for all the advice, guys! i tried waiting it out like some of you suggested, and it worked after about 18 hours. i also switched to mobile data, and that seemed to help too.
i’m still kinda annoyed that instagram does this, but at least i’m back in now. i’ll definitely look into using a VPN if this happens again.
quick question though—has anyone tried contacting instagram support? i’m curious if they ever actually respond or if it’s just a waste of time. thanks again, y’all are lifesavers!
