For a *complete* removal, don’t forget registry edits (but be careful!).
Press Win + R, type `regedit`, and navigate to:
`HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings`
Look for "ProxyEnable" and set its value to 0. Backup the registry first tho!
Restart after, and like others said, check with `netsh winhttp show proxy`.
