"Are Datacenter Proxies Still the Best Choice for High-Speed Web Scraping?"
Hey everyone, been using datacenter proxies for scraping for a while now, and I’m kinda torn. They’re *fast* af, no doubt, but lately, I’ve been hitting more blocks and CAPTCHAs than usual.
Are they still the go-to for speed, or are residential proxies catching up? I know datacenter proxies are cheaper and easier to scale, but if sites are cracking down harder, is it even worth it?
Also, anyone else notice some sites straight-up blacklist datacenter IP ranges now? Feels like the game’s changing.
Would love to hear your experiences—still rocking datacenter proxies or switching it up?
(Also, sorry for any typos, typing this on mobile lol)
