How do I configure chrome browser proxy settings for better privacy? or Why can't I change my chrome

Hey! Had the same issue last week. Turns out Chrome browser proxy settings are kinda tied to your system settings now.

Try this:
- Go to *chrome://settings/system*
- Click "Open your computer’s proxy settings"
- Make sure you hit *Save* in the Windows panel (easy to miss).

If it still doesn’t stick, maybe check if any antivirus is blocking it? Some apps override proxy settings silently.
