ugh proxies are the worst. had the same issue last week.
how do you turn off a proxy server? for Win 11, hit Win + I > Network & Internet > Proxy > turn off the manual proxy thingy.
if that doesn’t work, check if some sketchy software forced it. malwarebytes can scan for nasties.
