Proxies can be a pain, but here’s a foolproof way to disable proxy on Win 10:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy.
Under "Manual proxy," make sure everything’s off. If it’s grayed out, your admin might’ve locked it. In that case, you’ll need admin rights.
Also, run "ipconfig /flushdns" in CMD just in case.
