Bro, proxy settings are just instructions for your device on how to use a proxy server.

They *can* hide your IP, but they’re not as secure as a VPN. Some people use ‘em for web scraping or avoiding IP bans.

Speed? Usually worse unless it’s a high-end proxy.

- Windows: Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy
- iPhone: Wi-Fi settings > HTTP Proxy
