"Does Your Proxy Detector Actually Work or Just Give False Positives?"
Hey folks, been testing a few proxy detectors lately and man, some of them are *way* off. Like, they’ll flag legit users as VPNs or miss obvious proxies.
Anyone else run into this? I get that no proxy detector is perfect, but some seem to just guess half the time.
Also, how often do you guys update your lists? Cuz if you’re relying on outdated data, it’s basically useless, right?
Kinda curious—what’s your go-to proxy detector that *actually* works without going nuts on false positives? Or is this just a losing battle?
(Also, side note: why do some detectors freak out over Tor but miss basic datacenter IPs? Makes no sense.)
