Hey everyone,

Sooo, is it just me or is foxyproxy proxy being a total pain lately? I’ve been trying to set it up for hours, and it’s like, nope, not today buddy.

I followed the docs, double-checked everything, but still getting weird errors. Like, why does it work one minute and then just *poof* stops?

Anyone else dealing with this? Or am I just cursed? lol

Also, if anyone’s got tips or hacks for foxyproxy proxy configs, pls share. I’m this close to throwing my laptop out the window.

Thx in advance!

Ugh, I feel your pain! Foxyproxy proxy has been acting up for me too lately. I swear it’s like it has a mind of its own.

One thing that helped me was clearing the browser cache and restarting Firefox. Sometimes it just gets stuck in a weird state. Also, make sure your foxyproxy proxy rules are set up correctly—double-check the patterns and priorities.

If you’re still stuck, maybe try switching to another proxy manager like Proxy SwitchyOmega? It’s a bit more user-friendly imo.
Hey! I had the same issue with foxyproxy proxy last week. Turns out it was a conflict with another extension. Try disabling other extensions one by one to see if that fixes it.

Also, check if your proxy settings in Firefox itself are conflicting with foxyproxy. Sometimes Firefox overrides it for no reason.

If all else fails, uninstall and reinstall foxyproxy. It’s annoying but it worked for me.
Lol, foxyproxy proxy is such a drama queen sometimes. I’ve been using it for years, and yeah, it can be finicky.

One hack I use is to export my settings as a backup. That way, if it acts up, I can just reimport them. Also, make sure you’re on the latest version—sometimes updates fix weird bugs.

If you’re still struggling, check out the foxyproxy proxy forums. There’s a lot of helpful threads there.
I feel you! Foxyproxy proxy has been a nightmare for me too. One thing that helped was switching to a different proxy server. Sometimes the server itself is the issue, not foxyproxy.

Also, try using the “Quick Add” feature to manually add proxies. It’s faster and less error-prone than the advanced settings.

If you’re still stuck, maybe give Proxy Helper a try. It’s simpler but gets the job done.
Wow, thanks everyone for the tips! I tried clearing my cache and restarting Firefox, and it actually worked for a bit. But then it started acting up again lol.

I’m gonna try disabling other extensions next—didn’t even think about that. Also, the DNS tip sounds interesting. I’ll give that a shot too.

If all else fails, I might just switch to Proxy SwitchyOmega like someone suggested. Foxyproxy proxy is great when it works, but man, it’s so frustrating sometimes.

Thanks again, y’all are lifesavers!
Dude, foxyproxy proxy is such a hit or miss. I’ve had days where it works perfectly and others where it just refuses to cooperate.

One thing that helped me was resetting the proxy settings in Firefox and then reconfiguring foxyproxy from scratch. It’s a pain, but it worked.

Also, make sure your proxy credentials are correct. I spent hours troubleshooting only to realize I had a typo in my username lol.
Foxyproxy proxy can be a real headache sometimes. I’ve found that it works better if you disable IPv6 in your network settings. For some reason, it conflicts with foxyproxy.

Also, try using the “Patterns” feature to whitelist or blacklist specific sites. It helps avoid unnecessary proxy usage.

If you’re still having issues, maybe check out the foxyproxy proxy GitHub page. There’s a lot of helpful info there.
Hey! I had the same issue with foxyproxy proxy. Turns out it was a DNS issue. Switching to a different DNS server fixed it for me.

Also, make sure your proxy server isn’t overloaded. Sometimes the problem isn’t foxyproxy but the server itself.

If you’re still stuck, maybe try using a VPN instead. It’s not the same, but it’s way less hassle.
