"Is the pirate mirror still the best way to access blocked sites?" or "How reliable is the pirate mirror

"Anyone else having trouble with the pirate mirror lately?"

Hey y’all,

Been using the pirate mirror for ages, but lately it’s been super hit or miss. Sometimes it loads fine, other times it’s just dead.

Anyone else running into this? Or is it just me?

Also, if it’s going down more often, what’s the next best thing? Heard some folks use VPNs, but idk if that’s as easy.

Pls lmk if you’ve found a workaround or a better mirror. Thx!

(Let me know if you'd like it tweaked!)
Yeah, same here! The pirate mirror has been super unreliable lately.

I switched to using Tor with a few different .onion links, and it’s been way more stable. Also, a good VPN (like Proton or Mullvad) helps if the main site’s getting blocked.

If you’re looking for alternatives, check out some of the forums on Reddit—they usually have updated mirrors listed.
Ugh, tell me about it. The pirate mirror’s been acting up for weeks now.

I’ve had better luck accessing it late at night or early morning, seems like less traffic. Also, try clearing your cache or using a different browser—sometimes that weirdly fixes it.

As for backups, there’s a few Telegram channels that post fresh links when the main one goes down.
Not just you, dude. The pirate mirror’s been flaky af.

I’ve been using a combo of VPN + DNS changer, and it’s helped a ton. Also, bookmark a few proxy sites—they’re not perfect, but better than nothing.

If you’re desperate, the Wayback Machine sometimes has archived pages, but YMMV.
Yep, same issue. The pirate mirror’s been hit or miss, mostly miss lately.

Someone in another thread mentioned using I2P for better access—might be worth a shot if you’re tech-savvy. Otherwise, VPNs are the easiest fix.

Also, keep an eye on Twitter (or X, whatever). Some accounts post new mirrors as soon as they pop up.
Bro, it’s been a nightmare. The pirate mirror’s either slow or just straight-up dead.

I’ve found that using a different DNS (like Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1) sometimes helps. Also, check out the “unofficial” mirrors—they’re not as polished but usually work when the main one’s down.
Same here! The pirate mirror’s been acting weird for a while now.

Try switching to a mobile hotspot if your home IP’s blocked. Works for me sometimes.

Also, there’s a GitHub repo that lists active mirrors—just search for it.
Yeah, it’s been rough. The pirate mirror’s either up or down, no in-between.

I’ve had better luck with Tor Browser lately. Also, some folks recommend using a seedbox if you’re into that—kinda overkill, but it works.
Thanks for all the suggestions, y’all!

I tried the VPN + DNS trick, and it’s working way better now. Still kinda slow, but at least it’s loading.

Anyone know if the pirate mirror’s gonna be more stable soon, or is this just how it is now? Also, those Telegram channels sound handy—anyone got a link?

Appreciate the help!
Not just you. The pirate mirror’s been super inconsistent.

Try using a different TLD (.se, .is, etc.)—sometimes one works when the others don’t. Also, check out the usual suspect forums for updated links.
