"What’s the best good free proxy server out there right now?"

Hey guys,

I’ve been trying to find a good free proxy server that actually works without slowing my connection to a crawl. Every time I google it, I get flooded with sketchy sites or ones that just stop working after a day.

Anyone got a solid recommendation? Something stable and decently fast?

Also, if you’ve used one recently, how’s the speed? Don’t wanna waste time setting it up just to get dial-up speeds lol.

Thanks in advance!
I've been using HideMyAss free proxy for a while now, and it's been pretty solid. Not the fastest, but way better than most free options out there.

Just make sure you pick a server close to your location for better speed. Also, avoid peak hours—it gets a bit sluggish then.

If you're looking for a good free proxy server that doesn't die after a day, this one’s worth a shot.
Yo, ProtonVPN’s free tier is a lifesaver. Not exactly a proxy, but it does the job and keeps your connection decently fast.

Most good free proxy servers I’ve tried are either slow or packed with ads, but Proton’s been reliable for basic browsing.

Just don’t expect Netflix-level speeds lol.
Honestly, free proxies are hit or miss. I’ve had luck with KProxy lately—it’s simple and doesn’t throttle too hard.

Speed’s okay for streaming YouTube at 720p, but don’t expect miracles.

If you’re just trying to bypass geo-blocks, it’s one of the better good free proxy server options.
Try VPNBook’s free proxy list. They update it regularly, so the servers don’t die as fast as others.

Speed’s decent for a free service, but obviously not as fast as paid ones.

Just be careful with sensitive stuff—free proxies aren’t exactly Fort Knox.
I’ve been burned by so many “good free proxy server” scams that I just gave up and use Tor now.

It’s slow af, but at least it’s consistent and doesn’t vanish overnight.

If you’re desperate, it’s an option, but temper your expectations.
Check out ProxySite.com. It’s a web-based proxy, so no setup needed.

Speed’s surprisingly good for a free service, and it works with most sites.

Downside? Ads. But hey, that’s the trade-off for a good free proxy server.
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys!

I tried KProxy and ProxySite.com based on your recs, and they’re way better than the trash I was using before.

KProxy’s speed is decent for what I need, but ProxySite is surprisingly smooth.

Anyone know if these work with gaming? Or is that pushing it for a good free proxy server?
Hola VPN’s free version is alright if you just need a quick fix.

It’s peer-to-peer though, so your IP might get shared. Not ideal for privacy, but speed’s decent.

Wouldn’t recommend for long-term use, but it’s a quick solution.
I’ve had mixed results with free proxies, but CroxyProxy has been the most stable for me.

Works with YouTube and social media, which is rare for a good free proxy server.

Speed’s not amazing, but it’s usable for casual browsing.
