Quick question though: How do you guys handle returns if something’s wrong? Do these proxies help with that, or is it a lost cause?

If you’re in Europe, check out Parcl. They’re not a traditional taobao proxy, but they connect you with personal shoppers who can buy stuff for you. A bit more expensive, but way safer if you’re paranoid about scams.
