"Need a Fast Proxy Server Checker – Any Recommendations?"

Hey guys!

So I’ve been testing a bunch of proxies lately, but my current proxy server checker is slower than a snail on vacation. 😩

Anyone got recs for a *fast* one? Free or paid, doesn’t matter as long as it gets the job done quick.

Bonus points if it actually shows ping, location, and whether the proxy’s dead or alive.

Also, does anyone else feel like half these tools just... don’t work? Or is it just me?

Drop your faves below! 🙌
Yo! I feel your pain. Slow proxy server checkers are the worst.

I’ve been using ProxyScrape for a while now, and it’s been a game-changer. Super fast, checks ping, location, and even gives you the uptime percentage.

Plus, it’s free for basic checks, which is dope.

Ever tried it?
Man, I swear some of these tools are just placebo. 😂

But for real, ScraperAPI’s proxy tester is solid. It’s not free, but it’s lightning-fast and actually reliable.

Shows all the deets—ping, geolocation, and whether the proxy’s alive. Worth the cash if you’re working with a ton of proxies.
Hey! If you’re cool with a CLI tool, proxy-checker on GitHub is legit.

It’s open-source, so you can tweak it if needed.

Checks speed, location, and validity in seconds. Only downside? Gotta run it yourself, but it’s worth it for the speed.
Ugh, same struggle. So many "fast" proxy server checkers are just... not.

IPRoyal’s checker is my go-to. Free, quick, and shows ping + country.

Also, their UI doesn’t look like it’s from 2005, which is a nice bonus.
Wow, thanks for all the recs, guys!

Tried ProxyScrape and SpiderProxy so far—both are miles better than what I was using.

Quick Q: Anyone know if any of these tools can *bulk* test proxies? Like, upload a list and let it rip?

Also, big shoutout to the CLI suggestion—gonna mess with that next. 🙏
Bro, try SpiderProxy. It’s a browser-based proxy server checker, no install needed.

Pings are accurate, and it filters out dead proxies like a champ.

Only thing—it’s a bit limited on the free tier, but the paid version’s cheap.
Honestly, most free tools are trash.

But Proxy-List Checker by HideMy.name is surprisingly decent.

Gives you response time, location, and even the proxy type (HTTP/SOCKS).

Not the fastest, but way better than most.
If you’re on Windows, ProxyFire is worth a look.

It’s a bit old-school, but it’s crazy fast and customizable.

Checks anonymity level too, which most tools ignore.
