Subject: Where can I find a reliable list of proxy servers?

Hey guys,

I’ve been searching everywhere for a decent list of proxy servers, but most of the ones I find are either outdated or just don’t work.

Anyone got a solid source for an updated list of proxy servers? Free or paid, doesn’t matter—just need something that actually works lol.

Also, if you’ve got a working list of proxy servers to share, that’d be awesome! Or at least point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance!

(Ps. If you know any sites that regularly update their list of proxy servers, drop a link pls.)
If you're looking for a reliable list of proxy servers, I'd recommend checking out ProxyScrape. They update their lists pretty often, and you can filter by HTTP, SOCKS, etc.

Free ones can be hit or miss, but their paid options are solid. Also, their API is handy if you need automation.

Another good one is FreeProxyList, though you might need to test a few before finding working ones.

Hope that helps!
Yo, I feel your pain. Finding a good list of proxy servers is like digging for gold sometimes lol.

I’ve had luck with HideMy.name—they’ve got free and paid proxies, and their lists are updated daily.

Also, if you’re into scraping, check out ScraperAPI. Not exactly a list, but they handle proxies for you so you don’t have to worry about rotation.
For a constantly updated list of proxy servers, try Spys.one. It’s been my go-to for years.

They show the last checked time for each proxy, so you know which ones are fresh.

Downside? The site looks straight outta 2005, but it works.
Honestly, free proxy lists are a gamble. If you need reliability, go paid.

I use Luminati (now Bright Data). Expensive, but their list of proxy servers is top-tier.

Otherwise, ProxyNova has a free list that’s decent if you don’t mind sifting through dead ones.
Hey! I’ve been using ProxyList+ (Chrome extension) for quick access to a list of proxy servers.

It’s not perfect, but it’s convenient. Also, their GitHub repo has raw lists if you prefer that.

For paid, Smartproxy is worth checking out—good speeds and fewer bans.
Wow, thanks for all the suggestions! I didn’t expect so many options.

I tried ProxyScrape and Spys.one based on your recs, and they’re way better than what I was using before.

Quick question though—anyone know if these lists work well with Python requests? Or do I need extra setup?

Also, Bright Data looks great but kinda pricey for my needs rn. Maybe later lol.

Thanks again!
If you’re tech-savvy, you can scrape your own list of proxy servers using sites like GatherProxy.

They provide real-time data, but you’ll need to filter it yourself.

Otherwise, GeoSurf is great for geo-specific proxies if that’s what you need.
Dude, just avoid free public proxies if you’re doing anything serious. So many are slow or sketchy.

I’d recommend Storm Proxies—cheap and reliable. Their list of proxy servers is small but high-quality.

For free, maybe ProxyRack, but expect some duds.
Check out ProxyFish. They update their list of proxy servers hourly, which is rare for free options.

Also, their API is free for small-scale use.

Paid alternative? Oxylabs is pricey but unbeatable for uptime.
