Does Riot Ban IP Addresses for Smurfing? Need Clarification!

Riot’s not gonna ban your IP for smurfing. It’s mostly just account bans unless you’re doing something really shady.

But smurfing’s still annoying, so maybe just play on your main account? Or if you’re really set on smurfing, just be careful and don’t make it obvious.

Thanks for all the replies, guys! Sounds like Riot doesn’t ban IPs for smurfing, which is a relief since I share Wi-Fi with my roommate.

I’ll probably just stick to my main account to avoid any risks. But out of curiosity, has anyone here actually gotten an account banned for smurfing? Like, how obvious do you have to be for them to catch you?
