"WebRTC Leak Test – Are You Safe from IP Exposure?"

yo so i was just chillin, thinking my VPN was solid... until i heard about webrtc leaks. 😳

turns out, some VPNs don’t fully block webrtc, and your real IP can sneak through. not cool, right?

did a quick webrtc leak test (just google it, tons of free tools) and... yikes. my IP was visible!

anyone else run into this? how do you guys make sure your VPN’s actually protecting you?

ps. if you haven’t checked, do a webrtc leak test ASAP. better safe than sorry!

*btw, any fixes if it leaks? share your tips!*
oh man, same here! i thought my VPN was bulletproof until i ran a webrtc leak test and saw my real IP staring back at me.

quick fix? disable webrtc in your browser. for Firefox, go to about:config and toggle "media.peerconnection.enabled" to false. Chrome users can try extensions like "WebRTC Leak Prevent" or "uBlock Origin" (it has a built-in block option).

also, check out ipleak.net for a solid webrtc leak test. stay safe!
lol classic VPN trap. webrtc leaks are sneaky af.

pro tip: not all VPNs suck at this. Mullvad and NordVPN have built-in webrtc leak protection. if yours doesn’t, maybe time to switch?

and yeah, always double-check with a webrtc leak test. browserleaks.com is my go-to.
yooo thanks for the heads up! just tested mine and... welp, leak city.

anyone know if incognito mode helps? or is that just a myth?

also, for the noobs like me, how often should we run a webrtc leak test? monthly? weekly?
ugh, webrtc leaks are the worst. i spent hours figuring this out.

here’s what worked for me:
- disable webrtc in chrome://flags (search "webrtc" and disable it)
- use a VPN with a kill switch (ProtonVPN’s is solid)
- test regularly on sites like browserleaks.com or ipleak.net

stay paranoid, folks.
fun fact: some VPNs claim to block webrtc leaks but... they don’t.

always verify with a webrtc leak test. i use test.webrtc.org because it’s straightforward.

if you’re leaking, try switching to a browser like Brave—it has webrtc disabled by default.

just tested again after disabling webrtc in Firefox and... no leaks! thanks for the tips, y’all.

anyone know if this affects mobile browsers too? or is it just a desktop thing?
wait, so even with a VPN, webrtc can expose your IP? that’s wild.

just ran a webrtc leak test and thankfully mine’s clean. but now i’m paranoid.

anyone know if Tor browser handles this better? or is that overkill?
bro, this is why i stick to Firefox + uBlock Origin. it has a built-in webrtc leak blocker.

also, if your VPN doesn’t block webrtc leaks, it’s kinda useless? just saying.

test yours now on ipleak.net and report back. curious how many are still exposed.
