Subject: Getting an unknown source error response code 403 – anyone know how to fix this?

Hey everyone,

So I keep hitting this *unknown source error response code 403* when trying to access a site. Super annoying, right?

I’m not even sure what’s causing it—maybe a server issue or some weird block? Tried refreshing, clearing cache, even a different browser… no luck.

Anyone else run into this? How’d you fix it?

Would love some tips before I lose my mind over here lol.

Thanks!

Subject: What causes an unknown source error response code 403 and how do I resolve it?

Hey folks,

Stumbled upon this *unknown source error response code 403* outta nowhere. No idea why it’s popping up—server permissions? IP block?

Tried the usual stuff: VPN, incognito mode, restarting router… still stuck.

Anyone got a clue what’s triggering this or how to bypass it?

Appreciate any help!

Ugh, this *unknown source error response code 403* is driving me nuts.

Site was working fine yesterday, now it’s like “nope, not today.”

Is it just me? Or is there a trick to get around it?

Help a frustrated internet wanderer out, pls. 😅
Hey! I had the same unknown source error response code 403 last week. Turns out it was a Cloudflare block on my IP.

Try checking if the site uses Cloudflare—if it does, you might be flagged as a bot. Switching to mobile data or a different VPN server fixed it for me.

Also, give this site a shot: [IPQS](https://www.ipqualityscore.com/) to see if your IP’s blacklisted.
Ugh, 403 errors are the worst. The unknown source error response code 403 usually means the server’s denying access. Could be:
- Your IP got temp-banned
- The site’s blocking your region
- Missing permissions (like if you’re trying to access an admin page)

Try using Tor Browser or a VPN like ProtonVPN. If it works, you’ll know it’s an IP/region thing.
lol been there. That unknown source error response code 403 is such a mystery sometimes.

Quick fix? Clear your cookies AND cache, not just one. Also, disable any sketchy extensions—uBlock or Privacy Badger might trip it.

If nada, check [Down For Everyone Or Just Me](https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/) to see if it’s just you.
403 errors can be a pain, especially when it’s an unknown source error response code 403.

One thing ppl overlook: your user-agent. Some sites block certain browsers or versions. Try spoofing it with an extension like "User-Agent Switcher" for Chrome.

Also, if you’re on WiFi, try a hotspot. Might be your ISP acting up.
Yo, the unknown source error response code 403 is usually a server-side block.

If you’re desperate, try accessing the site via Wayback Machine ([archive.org](https://archive.org/)). Not ideal for logging in, but works for static content.

Otherwise, contact the site’s support—they might’ve banned your IP by accident.
Wow, thanks for all the suggestions! Didn’t realize there were so many fixes for the unknown source error response code 403.

Tried the DNS switch and it kinda worked? Still iffy though. Gonna test the VPN and user-agent tricks next.

Weirdly, the site loads on my phone but not my laptop. Maybe it’s a device thing? Anyway, appreciate the help!
Had this exact issue! The unknown source error response code 403 kept popping up until I realized my antivirus (Avast) was interfering.

Temporarily turned it off, and boom—site loaded. Maybe check your security software?

Also, try accessing the site at a diff time. Could be a temp glitch.
The unknown source error response code 403 is often a permissions thing.

If you’re on a shared network (school/work), the admin might’ve blocked it. Try a VPN like Windscribe—it’s free for limited data.

Or, if you’re tech-savvy, inspect the network tab in dev tools (F12) to see the exact error details.
Man, that unknown source error response code 403 is frustrating.

One weird fix that worked for me: change your DNS to Google’s (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare’s (1.1.1.1). Sometimes ISP DNS sucks.

Here’s a guide: [How to Change DNS](https://www.howtogeek.com/167533/the-ult...ns-server/).
