Got a Device Ban on Instagram? Can I Use a New Phone? Need Advice from Reddit!

Hey guys, so I got hit with a device ban on Instagram and I’m kinda freaking out. 😩 I’ve been reading up on the whole device ban reddit new phone instagram situation, but I’m still confused.

Can I just use a new phone to get back on IG? Or will they still track me somehow? I’ve seen mixed answers on Reddit, some say it works, others say you need to do more like resetting stuff or using a VPN.

Also, if I do get a new phone, should I use the same Apple ID or create a new one? I don’t wanna mess this up and get banned again.

Any advice from people who’ve dealt with this before? Thanks in advance! 🙏
Hey! So I’ve been through this exact situation with the device ban reddit new phone instagram thing. From my experience, just getting a new phone isn’t enough. Instagram can still track you through your IP address or even your Apple ID if you reuse it.

What worked for me was:
- Getting a new phone
- Creating a new Apple ID
- Using a VPN to mask my IP
- Not linking my old accounts or phone numbers

It’s a hassle, but it worked. I’d recommend checking out NordVPN or ExpressVPN for the IP masking part. Good luck!
yo bro, i feel you. i got hit with the same device ban reddit new phone instagram mess last month. honestly, just getting a new phone might not cut it. insta’s sneaky af and can still track you through your apple id or even your wifi.

what i did was:
- got a new phone
- made a new apple id
- used a diff wifi network (or a vpn if you can’t)
- didn’t link any old stuff

it’s been a few weeks and no issues so far. hope this helps!
I’ve seen a lot of mixed answers about the device ban reddit new phone instagram situation too. From what I’ve gathered, Instagram’s tracking is pretty advanced. Just switching phones might not be enough if they’ve flagged your IP or Apple ID.

I’d suggest:
1. New phone
2. New Apple ID
3. VPN (I use Surfshark, it’s cheap and works well)
4. Avoid using old emails or phone numbers

ugh, device bans are the worst. i went through the whole device ban reddit new phone instagram drama last year. honestly, instagram’s tracking is no joke. even if you get a new phone, they can still link you back through your apple id or ip address.

my advice:
- new phone
- new apple id
- vpn (i use protonvpn, it’s free and decent)
- don’t reuse any old info

it’s annoying but better safe than sorry. good luck!
