Has anyone else been having trouble with socket.net webmail recently? I’ve been trying to log in for the past couple of days, and it’s either super slow or just doesn’t load at all.
Sometimes it gives me an error like “connection timed out,” and other times it just hangs on the loading screen. I’ve tried different browsers and even cleared my cache, but no luck.
Is it just me or is socket.net webmail acting up for others too? Maybe it’s a server issue or something?
Also, anyone know if they’ve posted any updates or maintenance notices? I couldn’t find anything on their site.

Hey, I’ve been having the same issue with socket.net webmail! It’s been super frustrating. I tried using a VPN, and it actually worked for me. Maybe the server is blocking certain IPs or something? Worth a shot if you haven’t tried it yet.
Also, check out DownDetector. It’s a site that shows if others are reporting issues with a service. I checked earlier, and there were a few reports about socket.net webmail being down.

Yo, same here! socket.net webmail has been a nightmare lately. I switched to using Thunderbird as an email client, and it’s been way more reliable. You can set it up to pull emails from socket.net webmail, and it bypasses the browser issues.
Also, try using a different DNS like Google DNS (8.8.8.8). Sometimes that fixes weird connection problems.

In the meantime, I’ve been using Mailspring as an alternative email client. It’s free and works great with socket.net webmail.

Ugh, socket.net webmail has been driving me crazy too! I thought it was just my internet, but I guess not. I tried using Opera browser with its built-in VPN, and it worked better. Still not perfect, but at least I can access my emails.
Also, check out IsItDownRightNow. It’s a site that tells you if a service is down globally. It showed socket.net webmail as having intermittent issues.

Same issue here! socket.net webmail has been acting up for days. I tried clearing my cache, using incognito mode, and even resetting my router, but no luck.
I ended up using the mobile app for socket.net webmail, and it’s been working fine. Maybe try that if you haven’t already?
Also, their support page doesn’t mention anything, but I saw a tweet from them saying they’re aware of the problem.

Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions! I tried using a VPN like some of you mentioned, and it worked! Still a bit slow, but at least I can access socket.net webmail now.
I also downloaded Thunderbird, and it’s been a lifesaver. Way better than dealing with the browser issues.

Yeah, socket.net webmail has been a mess lately. I’ve been getting the “connection timed out” error too. I switched to using Edge browser, and it’s been slightly better.
Another thing you can try is using a different email client like eM Client. It’s free for basic use and works well with socket.net webmail.
