Has Anyone Tried ZipLocal Search? How Accurate and Reliable Is It for Finding Local Businesses?

Hey everyone!

So, I’ve been trying out ZipLocal search lately to find some local businesses near me, and I’m kinda curious if anyone else has used it? Like, how accurate is it really? I searched for a few places, and some results were spot on, but others felt a bit off—like outdated info or businesses that don’t even exist anymore.

Also, the reviews on there seem kinda hit or miss. Some are super helpful, but others are like... from 2015? Lol.

Anyway, just wondering if y’all have had better luck with ZipLocal search or if I should just stick to Google Maps or something. Let me know your thoughts!

Cheers!
I’ve used ZipLocal search a few times, and honestly, it’s been a mixed bag for me too. Like you said, some results are great, but others are way off. I think it’s decent for finding niche businesses, but for up-to-date info, I usually double-check with Google Maps or Yelp.

If you’re looking for something more reliable, maybe try Foursquare? It’s pretty good for local searches and has more recent reviews.
ZipLocal search is okay, but yeah, the outdated info is a bummer. I’ve noticed that too. I usually use it as a starting point and then cross-reference with other sites.

For better accuracy, I’d recommend checking out Yellow Pages or even Facebook’s local business search. They seem to have more current listings.
I’ve had the same experience with ZipLocal search. Some results are spot on, but others are just... not. I think it’s good for getting a general idea, but I wouldn’t rely on it 100%.

If you’re looking for alternatives, I’ve found that Apple Maps has been surprisingly accurate lately. Might be worth a shot!
ZipLocal search is hit or miss for me too. I’ve found that it’s better for finding smaller, local businesses that might not show up on Google Maps. But yeah, the outdated reviews are annoying.

For more reliable info, I’d suggest trying TripAdvisor or even just asking around in local Facebook groups. People there usually have the most up-to-date info.
I’ve been using ZipLocal search for a while now, and I agree—it’s not perfect. The accuracy really depends on the area you’re searching in. Some places are well-covered, others not so much.

If you’re looking for something more consistent, I’d recommend checking out Bing Places. It’s not as popular, but it’s pretty accurate in my experience.
ZipLocal search is decent, but I’ve noticed the same issues with outdated info. I think it’s good for getting a quick overview, but I always double-check with other sources.

For more reliable results, I’d suggest using Yelp or even just Googling the business directly. That usually gives me the most accurate info.

If you’re looking for alternatives, I’d recommend checking out Citysearch or even just asking locals for recommendations.
