Hey guys,

So I’m trying to enable location chrome w10 for a site, but the option just won’t show up? Like, I click the padlock icon, but there’s no location permission toggle.

Checked Chrome settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Location—it’s set to "Ask before accessing." Windows 10 location is ON too. Restarted Chrome, still nada.

Anyone else run into this? Is there a hidden setting or something?

Check if your site is HTTP instead of HTTPS. Chrome blocks location permissions on non-secure sites by default.

If that’s the case, the site owner needs to fix their SSL.

Random but worth a shot: Unplug any VPN or proxy. Chrome sometimes won’t ask for location if it thinks you’re elsewhere.

Also, test in Guest mode to rule out profile corruption.
