What's the Deal with Valorant First Ban Time? How Long Does It Really Take?

Hey y’all,
So I’ve been hearing a lot about the valorant first ban time lately, and honestly, I’m kinda confused. Like, how long does it *actually* take? Some ppl say it’s instant, others claim it’s a few hours or even days.

I got a buddy who got banned for the first time, and he said it took like 24 hours before he could play again. But then I saw a Reddit thread where someone said their valorant first ban time was only a couple of hours.

Is it random or what? Also, does it depend on what you did? Like, is it shorter for minor stuff like AFKing vs. something bigger like toxicity?

Kinda frustrating not knowing tbh. Anyone else dealt with this or have a clear answer?

Thanks in advance!
yo, so i got banned for the first time last month and it was like 3 hours for me. i think it really depends on what you did tho. i was just afk for a round, nothing crazy. but my friend got banned for being toxic and his valorant first ban time was like 24 hours. so yeah, it’s not random, it’s based on the offense.

if you wanna check more, there’s this site called banchecker.gg that gives you some info on bans and stuff.
Honestly, it’s super inconsistent. I’ve heard people say their valorant first ban time was instant, while others waited days. From what I’ve seen, it’s tied to the severity of the offense. AFKing might get you a shorter ban, but if you’re being toxic or cheating, it’s gonna be longer.

Riot doesn’t really give a clear timeline, which is annoying. Maybe they do it on purpose to keep people guessing? Idk.
i think it’s def based on what you did. my first ban was for afk and it was like 4 hours. but my buddy got banned for flaming and it was a full day. so yeah, valorant first ban time isn’t the same for everyone.

also, if you’re worried about getting banned, just don’t afk or be toxic lol. ez fix.
From my experience, the valorant first ban time is usually a few hours if it’s something minor like AFKing. But if it’s something serious like toxicity or cheating, it can be 24 hours or more. Riot’s system seems to scale the ban time based on the offense.

I’d recommend checking out the official Riot support page for more details. They don’t give exact times, but they explain how their system works.
Thanks for all the replies, y’all! So it sounds like the valorant first ban time really depends on what you did. My buddy’s 24-hour ban was probably for something more serious, while the shorter bans are for AFK or minor stuff.

I’ll check out banchecker.gg and the Riot support page for more info. Appreciate the help!
bruh, it’s so random. i got banned once for afk and it was like 2 hours. but my friend got banned for the same thing and it was 6 hours. idk if it’s based on how often you afk or what, but it’s def not consistent.

valorant first ban time is a mystery tbh. just try not to get banned ig.

If you’re curious, there’s a Reddit thread where people share their ban times. Just search “valorant first ban time” and you’ll find it.

if you’re worried about getting banned, just don’t do anything dumb lol. it’s not that hard.
