Which is Better for Your Needs: LunaProxy vs PyProxy?

16 Replies, 1098 Views

Hey everyone!

So, I’ve been digging into proxies lately and stumbled across the whole LunaProxy vs PyProxy debate. Honestly, I’m kinda torn between the two.

LunaProxy seems super reliable for scraping and stuff, but PyProxy has this flexibility with coding that’s kinda tempting. Anyone else in the same boat?

Also, pricing-wise, LunaProxy feels a bit more budget-friendly, but PyProxy’s features might justify the extra bucks. Idk, what do y’all think?

If you’ve used either (or both!), drop your thoughts below. Like, which one’s better for heavy-duty tasks or just casual use?

Thanks in advance! ✌️
Hey! I’ve used both LunaProxy and PyProxy, and honestly, it really depends on what you’re doing.

LunaProxy is great for scraping and heavy-duty tasks—super reliable and fast. But PyProxy? Man, the coding flexibility is a game-changer if you’re into custom setups.

For casual use, I’d say LunaProxy is the way to go. Budget-friendly and gets the job done. But if you’re a coder or need something super specific, PyProxy might be worth the extra cash.

Also, check out ProxyRack for a middle-ground option. It’s got some cool features too!
I was in the same spot as you a few months ago!

LunaProxy vs PyProxy is such a tough call. I ended up going with LunaProxy because I needed something stable for scraping, and it hasn’t let me down.

But yeah, PyProxy’s flexibility is tempting. If you’re into coding or need to tweak things a lot, it’s probably the better choice.

For pricing, LunaProxy is def more affordable, but PyProxy’s features might make it worth it if you’re doing advanced stuff.
Honestly, I’ve only used PyProxy, but I can vouch for its flexibility.

If you’re comfortable with coding, it’s a beast. You can customize it to do pretty much anything.

That said, I’ve heard LunaProxy is way better for scraping and heavy tasks. So if that’s your main focus, maybe start there?

Also, check out Scrapy if you’re into scraping. It pairs well with both proxies.
LunaProxy vs PyProxy is such a hot topic lol.

I’ve used both, and here’s my take:

LunaProxy is solid for scraping and general use. It’s fast, reliable, and doesn’t break the bank.

PyProxy, though, is next-level if you’re into coding. The customization options are insane.

If you’re just starting out, I’d say go with LunaProxy. It’s easier to use and cheaper. But if you’re a pro or need something super specific, PyProxy is worth the investment.
I’ve been using LunaProxy for a while now, and it’s been a lifesaver for scraping.

It’s super reliable and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

I haven’t tried PyProxy yet, but I’ve heard it’s amazing if you’re into coding.

For heavy-duty tasks, LunaProxy has been perfect for me. But if you need flexibility, PyProxy might be the way to go.

Also, check out Bright Data if you want another option. It’s pricey but super powerful.
Wow, thanks so much for all the replies, everyone!

I think I’m leaning towards LunaProxy for now since I’m mostly into scraping and need something reliable without breaking the bank.

But PyProxy’s flexibility sounds super tempting for future projects. I might give it a try later if I need more customization.

Also, thanks for the ProxyRack and Bright Data suggestions—I’ll def check those out too!

Really appreciate all the insights. You guys are the best! ✌️

I’ve used both, and here’s my 2 cents:

LunaProxy is great for scraping and casual use. It’s reliable and affordable.

PyProxy, on the other hand, is perfect if you’re into coding and need something super customizable.

If you’re just starting out, I’d say go with LunaProxy. It’s easier to use and cheaper. But if you’re a coder or need advanced features, PyProxy is worth the extra cost.
