Subject: Cloudflare is blocking scripts on my site – anyone else facing this?

Hey folks,

So I noticed cloudflare is blocking scripts on my website, and it's breaking some functionality.

Anyone else run into this? It's kinda frustrating cuz I didn’t change anything recently.

Is there a way to whitelist these scripts or tweak a setting? I checked the firewall rules but not sure what’s triggering it.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Subject: How to stop Cloudflare from blocking scripts?

Hey all,

Cloudflare is blocking scripts on my site, and it’s messing with a few features.

I’ve seen others mention this too – did you find a fix? Maybe a rule or setting I’m missing?

Would love some quick advice before I dive too deep into configs.

Cheers!
Hey! Yeah, cloudflare is blocking scripts on my site too, and it drove me nuts for a while. Turns out it was the "JavaScript Detections" rule in the Firewall settings.

Try going to Security > WAF > Managed Rules and look for "Cloudflare Specials." Disable the JS-related ones temporarily to test.

Also, check if your scripts are hosted on a third-party domain—sometimes CF blocks those by default.

Hope that helps!
Ugh, same issue here. Cloudflare is blocking scripts randomly, and it’s super annoying.

I fixed it by adding a Page Rule to bypass security for specific paths. Like, if your scripts are at /scripts/, set a rule to "Disable Security" for that URL.

Also, Cloudflare’s "Browser Integrity Check" can mess with scripts—try turning it off in Speed > Optimization.

Let me know if that works for ya!
Had this exact problem last week! Cloudflare is blocking scripts because of their "Bot Fight Mode" or the Obfuscated Scripts rule.

Go to Security > Bots and disable Bot Fight Mode to test. If that’s not it, check the WAF for rules like "Anomaly:URL:Obfuscated Path" and whitelist your script paths.

Btw, their docs (https://developers.cloudflare.com/) have a ton of troubleshooting tips.
Man, cloudflare is blocking scripts like crazy lately. I spent hours debugging this.

Found out it was the "Hotlink Protection" feature messing with external scripts. If you’re loading JS from another domain, disable that in Scrape Shield.

Also, their new "Super Bot Fight Mode" is aggressive—might wanna tone that down if you’re not dealing with heavy bot traffic.
Yo, same boat! Cloudflare is blocking scripts and breaking my site’s forms.

Quick fix: Add your script’s domain to the "Allowlist" in Security > WAF > Tools. If it’s a CDN like cdnjs, whitelist the entire domain (*.cdnjs.com*).

Also, their "Challenge Passage" setting might be too strict—try reducing it to 5-10 mins.
Not sure if this helps, but cloudflare is blocking scripts for me too, and it was due to their "Rocket Loader" feature.

Sometimes it conflicts with inline scripts. Try disabling it in Speed > Optimization.

Also, their firewall logs (Security > Events) show exactly what’s being blocked—super handy for debugging.
Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I tried disabling Bot Fight Mode and whitelisted the script paths in the WAF, and it’s working now.

Still weird that cloudflare is blocking scripts suddenly—did they push an update or something?

Gonna check the firewall logs like someone mentioned. Appreciate the help!
