Hey everyone,
So, I’ve been hearing a lot about pool socks lately and whether they’re actually worth it. I mean, do they *really* make a difference in protecting your pool equipment?
I’ve got a bunch of leaves and debris always finding their way into my pool, and I’m wondering if pool socks are the solution or just another gimmick. Some folks swear by ‘em, saying they keep the pump basket cleaner and reduce clogs. But others say it’s just an extra step that doesn’t do much.
What’s your experience? Are pool socks a must-have or nah? Also, do they last long, or do they get gross and need replacing all the time?
Kinda curious before I spend the cash. Thanks in advance!

Pool socks are a game-changer, honestly. I used to have so many issues with leaves and small debris clogging up my pump basket, but ever since I started using pool socks, it’s been way less of a hassle. They catch all the tiny stuff before it even gets to the basket.
I’d say they’re worth it if you’re dealing with a lot of debris. They do get dirty pretty quick, but they’re easy to rinse out and reuse. I replace mine every couple of months, but they’re cheap enough that it’s not a big deal.

If you’re on the fence, I’d say give them a shot. They’re not expensive, and they can save you a lot of time and hassle.
