"Anyone else getting the 'err connection timeout web page timeout error'?? So annoying!"
ugh, this keeps happening to me rn. trying to load a site and bam—err connection timeout web page timeout error. like, why??
tried refreshing a million times, restarting chrome, even my router. no luck.
is it just me or is this happening to others too?
quick fixes i’ve heard:
- clear cache/cookies (didn’t work for me but worth a shot)
- switch to a diff browser (firefox saved me once)
- check if the site’s actually down (but it works on my phone??)
pls help a frustrated human out. what’s your go-to fix for this stupid err connection timeout web page timeout error?
(also, why does tech hate us smh)
omg same!! the err connection timeout web page timeout error is driving me nuts today.
i found that using a vpn sometimes fixes it?? like the site loads fine when i switch locations. weird, right?
also, try downforeveryoneorjustme.com to check if it’s really just you.
if nothing works, maybe your isp is being trash. happens to me all the time smh.
ugh, i feel your pain. that err connection timeout web page timeout error is the worst.
have you tried disabling extensions? some of them mess with connections.
also, flush your dns! open cmd and type "ipconfig /flushdns". worked for me once when nothing else did.
if it’s just one site, maybe their servers are overloaded. patience, i guess? lol.
bro, i had the same err connection timeout web page timeout error last week.
turned out my antivirus was blocking it for no reason?? disabled it for a sec and boom, site loaded.
also, check your hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts). sometimes malware messes with it.
hope that helps! tech is such a pain sometimes.
yep, getting the err connection timeout web page timeout error too. super annoying.
try changing your dns to google’s (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4). fixed it for me when my isp’s dns was acting up.
also, if you’re on wifi, switch to ethernet. unstable connections can cause this.
let us know if anything works!
the err connection timeout web page timeout error is my nemesis.
here’s what i do:
- restart modem (not just router)
- use cloudflare’s dns (1.1.1.1)
- disable ipv6 in network settings
sounds like overkill but it’s saved me so many times.
if all else fails, blame the internet gods.
same issue here with the err connection timeout web page timeout error.
weird trick: try accessing the site in incognito mode. sometimes cookies or cache are the culprit even after clearing them.
also, check if your time/date settings are correct. sounds random but it can break ssl connections.
good luck! tech hates us all equally.
yo thanks for all the suggestions!!
tried the dns switch to 8.8.8.8 and it actually worked?? wild.
still getting the err connection timeout web page timeout error sometimes tho.
gonna test the antivirus thing next. why is fixing tech always a guessing game lol.
appreciate the help!
