"Why Aren’t My Yandex Settings Saving Properly?"
Hey guys, having a weird issue with my yandex settings—they keep resetting after I close the browser. Like, I tweak the search preferences and privacy stuff, but next time I open Yandex, it’s back to default.
Anyone else run into this?
Tried clearing cookies, updating the browser, even reinstalled it. Nothin’ works. Is there a hidden cache or something I’m missing?
Also, does Yandex sync mess with settings? Maybe it’s pulling old configs from the cloud?

Try disabling sync temporarily, adjust your yandex settings, then restart the browser. If it sticks, re-enable sync and see if it holds.
Also, check if you’ve got any extensions messing with storage—sometimes ad blockers or privacy tools wipe stuff.

Try exporting your Yandex settings first (yandex://settings/manageProfile). Then reimport after a reinstall.
Sometimes the config gets borked during updates, and a clean import fixes it.
Are you using a VPN or proxy? Yandex settings sometimes glitch if your IP changes a lot.
Also, try disabling hardware acceleration in yandex://settings/system—weird bugs happen with that on.
